Efa was born in 2001 in Cebu City, Philippines to a Filipina mother, and Australian father. In 2012, her family migrated to Deepwater, Glen Innes in New South Wales, located 700km north of Sydney Australia. Efa then began to explore her musical interests and was given the opportunity to compose the official jingle for Deepwater's annual Scarecrow and Wool Festival.

During her highschool years, Efa brought attention to Glen Innes High School through her achievements in the Performing Arts. For example, Efa was selected into various NSW Arts Unit programs, both regional and state level, in singing, dance and drama. Efa became a reputable young role model to the youth in the community of Glen Innes, NSW. Her various contributions to the town have been acknowledged and in 2018 Efa was awarded Young Australian Citizen of the Year and appointed Chairperson of the Glen Innes Youth Advisory Council Committee.

Efa's recent performance credits include performing as a Featured Soloist (singer and/or dancer) and an Ensemble member at the several notable institutions including the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The Concourse Chatswood, Sydney Seymour Centre, Tamworth Regional Entertainment Conference Centre (TRECC) and Qudos Bank Arena - Sydney Olympic Park; with seating capacity from 200 to 18,000+.

Efa’s state wide exposure in NSW led to international opportunities; Efa sang in a vocal ensemble in 2016 for NSW West of the Divide Europe Tour, where they toured across 5 countries in Europe. She also had the opportunity to work with Paul Rissman, the animateur of London Symphony Orchestra in 2018. Her performance as one of the featured State Dancers was televised on ABC ME.
